OOOoooOOO An award...

I got an award....from Agnieszka of Beauty Cat Castle Thanks dear!

So apparently this award is really just to help spread the word about blogs you love, that are relatively new or still baby blogs...bloglets if you will.

Terms go a little like this:
In order to accept the award you have to 1. Tell your readers 11 things about yourself and 2. Answer your taggee's 11 questions and then tag 11 bloggers who have less then 200 followers....and give them another 11 questions to answer. I think- hopefully-well that's how it is now!

EXCEPT I'm just not good enough to know how many followers anyone has...SO I TAG YOU ALLLL! mwa ha ha ha ha, seriously though, its a bit of fun, you learn something about your fellow bloggers, and you let them know a bit about you...
So 11 things you might not know about me:
1. I have a degree in Environmental Science
2. I have just finished a course and will be a qualified makeup artist soon
3. I won't give up my day job
4. I can leave my house not wearing makeup
5. I like to read, more than watch TV
6. I am a mum
7. I have just built a house and will be moving in the next few weeks
8. I am originally from Scotland
9. I lived in America for a year as a student
10. I think anger is a pointless emotion in the long run, people don't care your angry at them after a while (if they even knew in the 1st place), but you hold it in your heart and so you suffer.
11. I studied Philosophy as an elective unit while at Uni- I failed, too sciency minded

Now, The questions posed to me:

1) What made you decide to start a blog?
I loved makeup and people always asked me about it, and I love writing, even I can do that maths.

2) What's your favourite thing to drink?
Diet coke with raspberry....nom

3) Video games yes or no?Depends what games

4) Do your friends and family know about your blog? Yes, but they don't read it. Well, some of my friends do... My mum has never reads it, but she tells everyone about it, especially my contributions to Makeup Utopia, some of my best work, but mostly because I have a kick ass Editor, and bloggy big sister in Sara May.

5) How did you decide how to name your blog?
I love a good pun, and its about how makeup can make you feel if you can get past the stereotypes surrounding loving it.

6) What's your favourite city?
I love Edinburgh. I will always call Scotland home.

7) Favourite makeup/nail polish/skincare brand?
Makeup is Illamasqua (I would forsake all others) Nail Polish is probably O.P.I- because of the names, but I don't really wear it and Skincare is Clinique because every time I stray, I remember why I use it...

8) How often do you check your own blog?
Only when I have something to say, i.e. when I write a post.

9) Diet coke or regular coke? (or no coke?)
Diet coke-yummo

10) Is Seche Vita really the best top coat?
I have no idea....

11) What is your most recommended product? (makeup or otherwise?)
A good E/S primer, I wrote this quite unflattering article that proves my point brilliantly here

Yeah, I'm not good at asking questions, well, when it's permitted, ask my boss, when they don't want them, I ask a million questions! So it got a little strange, please still answer them, I really want to know who let those dogs out?!? and then to throw you a little interview style conundrum at the end.
